St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School was founded in 1899. We are located in the village of Murton, close to the coastal town of Seaham. Our school was opened on March 15th, 1899 and celebrated its 110th birthday on 15th, March 2009. The school grounds provide ample space for the children to play in as well as being a resource area for the curriculum. There are 3 playgrounds, EYFS outdoor area, KS1 playground and KS2 playground. We also have a nature area and a detached sports field.
